At Pop Art Now we love the visual arts! We adore the movies and the film posters that the movie studios release to advertise them. They span the globe and every school and style of art. Which is what really makes them so interesting and compelling.
Sometimes the studios would release a promotional poster design that was only available as a mini poster, and then the artwork would totally change for the final release of the film, and the subsequent printing of the full size poster. Other times posters were recalled because of current events i.e. “life imitating art” like the artwork for the movie Vendetta as an example. In some cases the poster art has taken on a unique life all its own and has become more treasured and well known than even the original film itself.
